Hi all,

Is it possible to use inductor having value L= 10kH.

I want to know the maximum size of inductor used.

Hi,

Theoretically yes.

It is just a question of the core parameter "Al" and the number of windings.
L = n^2 × Al.

You may use very thin wire.

But without an application the question/answer makes no sense.

It's like asking about the largest possible capacitor. If one build a 1kF capacitor, then the other adds some capacitors and get an even larger capacity.

Maximum inductance is only half the specification. You should also talk about saturation current, inductance stability, possibly need to consider windings capacitance and self resonance frequency. What's your application?

That's rather like asking "How big a house can you build?"
Without context, the question is way too open-ended to supply a sensible answer.
