What is the difference?

There are SIN and SINH. The first one is familiar as SINUS on calculus (or trigonometry), but, I don’t know what SINH means. Can anybody here explain me what is meant by “H” letter on the SINH? Please advance

sin function is having complex or imaginary part too but sinh is purely real !.....

u can express one in terms of other..for more u can C ur text book !

sine is a trigonomatric function as sinusoidal which has complex & real parts both

sinh, on the other hand, is hyperbolic sine function which is real only, it can be expressed as the function of exponentials

when u sketch it u will see that it is a hyperbolic
sinh == hyperbolicsinus
