Any book about that?

Amplify is a physical synthesis tool; in other words include Synplify PRO, but only @lter@ and Xilinx families are supported, and advance features that allow you to control the physical placement inside the target device. This is very helpful, since the P&R tools often perform the placement in a very strange way. So you can group and place together related resources, which can help to increase your maximum frequency, and to decrease setup and clock to output.
Books, I don’t think you can find. But the documentation that come with the tool is quite good. In order to see some of the tool features check **broken link removed** and

Amplify, the physical synthesis tool knows target ( actual device) specific architecture and based on this it generates high performance EDIF netlist. This helps in saving the logic elements and in addition improved speed.
