hello every one
can any one explain the major difference between bistable element,clocked bistable,latch and flipflops?

Hi,
Bistable element is basic storage element with 2 stable states: 1 & 0 using proper activation. Same is valid when controlled with clk in clocked bistable.

The main difference between latch and flops is sensitivity. Latches are level sensitive while flops are edge sensitive. Also latches are classified as asynchronous while flops operate in synchronized manner with respect to clk. Using master-slave method, latches can be made to work as flops.
