what is the difference between cdma and gsm and wat is sos

Re: cdma

the main difference is the access method.
CDMA stands for code division multiple access.
here, users share the same frequency band but in GSM, the users are associated to various frequency channels on which TDMA scheme is also used.
this scheme causes the modulation scheme to be different.

Re: cdma

Can anyone explain to me what is a Modulation Scheme?

I'm quite new to this subject.

Thanks in advance.

GSM is 2G mobile technology where TDMA and FDMA is utilized for simultanuous access of different mobile users, while CDMA is mobile communication system which is wideband and in this system each user signal is spread according to a specified code so that signals from each user can be separated at the receiver end.

This is just a basic different,, but there are number of other technical difference too....
