corner simulation + berkeley

I do not know exactly what coner simulation means.
How to set the resistor, cap, mos value in each case.
Please let me know about coner simulation

.alter + corner simulations

Usually the spice file provided by the foundry contains this information. All you have to do is specify which corner (TT,SS,FF, ..) you want to run simulation.

Re: coner simulation

running corner simulation means running cases with variations in temperature, process parameters and voltage supply.

coner simulation

let the process all in the corner that make it fast/slow

coner simulation

On the other hand, u still simulate the schematic as the following:
resistors : change +/ 10%

coner simulation

It is different in the model select (TT FF FS SF SS).

coner simulation

you can .alter change the corner when you run sim.

coner simulation

What are the corners, i.e., FF/SS/SF/FS, usually simulated along with the TT one? And how about Temp=?

If you have the lib set of hspice! you can do simulation.

coner simulation

If you use cadence analog environment, you can use ocean to run corner simulation

Re: coner simulation

The lib document provides you abundant information,so read carefully whenever you begin a simulation.
The attachment is an example from Berkeley...

Re: coner simulation

Your corner should include :
SS-FF-SF-FS for high-low temperature for high-low VDD, i.e. : 4x2x2=16 simulations!
If you include resistors Slow-Fast and capacitors Slow-Fast, you get 64 simulations ...

The guru of your company should setup trade-off to reduce them, otherwise ...
... use .alter command and wait for 1 night !!!
