I have random current pulses... I want to find number of such current pulses and to show that number in a output device ( probabily digital)

Sir, am a mechanical engg. so u have to excuse me....
Sir, i am getting current of 0.5 to 3volts DC in randomly. Everytime when current comes, i need to count such number of currents and display the number...

I searched in net, talked with some EC frds.. But i didn't got exact circuit..... So help me out sir, plz...

.

Current of 0.5 V to 3 V ?You mean Voltage ?

You may need a comparator(one end tied to Gnd),so that every time a signal comes, o/p shoots up to Vcc.

The o/p you can use it to count using a counter.(need to be careful here)

But,if a signal comes, how long does it stay up before falling to 0 ?

Sir, what counter you prefer...? And its specifications plz sir...
