wireless in local loop

what is best for implementing wireless in local loop.............GSM/CDMA/DECT?

Re: wireless in local loop

Well the answer to the question is obvious if we look at current market.

Wireless local loop service provider in most of the countries are using CDMA, the reason being superior quality of service.

CDMA has several advantages over other techonlogies. Especially in WLL it is more efficient and more importantly economical.

Re: wireless in local loop

CDMA has the major advantage of multipath robustness. This is very important in terminals that are moving.

Re: wireless in local loop

how can we compare GSM/CDMA/DECT in terms of
1. modulation technique,
2. modulation efficiency,
3. data rate,
4. bandwidth,
5. user capacity and
6. cost
