I need the smallest current sensor IC (because I don't have much space on my PCB) that has these specifications:

  1. Has good isolation (more than 500 V)
  2. Works with 3.3 V
  3. Measures currents up to 6 A.
I will be grateful if you could introduce me to some ICs that you worked with.

Hi,

"Best" is meaningless without saying in which regard.

Missing informatins:

DC? AC? Frequency / waveform?
Accuracy?
Precision?
Interface?
PCB mount? SMD/THM?
Area limit, size limit?
Price limit?
Volume?

My first idea: "hall current sensor IC". Just do a search at your distributor.

I appreciate your kind comments and explanations. Here is my demands:

Signal: DC signal, Sampling rate: each 10mS, current step:200mA is enough, Interface: better to be an analog output voltage for ADC, SMD is more appropriate, less than 1*1 cm*cm, Price is not important
