Hey I have a 24v 2A printer power supply and i want to make the printer run off batteries.

I have two 12V 4A batteries and will connect them in series. My question is that the power supply has two connections i don't know. One is N.C. and the other is FG. Anybody have any hints?

Do i need to connect them or can I just use my battery and the + & GND into the printer?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about FG but N.C. usualy stands for no connection. Take a look inside the supply and see what the pins are connected to

Hey Thanks,

I found out that FG stands for Frame Ground and is really only necessary for mains. or as far as I know.

Best,
