I'm reading a paper about differential amplifiers and it talks about DM and CM mismatch and how they affect the CMRR.
I know that input impedance mismatch can limit the overall CMRR, but I don't understand what is meant by DM and CM mismatch and haven't heard of this term before.
DM mismatch refers to imbalances in the differential components or signals. CM mismatch refers to imbalances in the handling of common-mode components or signals. Both types of mismatch degrade the CMRR by reducing the amplifier's ability to reject common-mode signals and accurately amplify differential signals.
