Can I know what is difference between port and ideal source in analog library of Cadence Virtuoso environment??

Thanking you ,

I don't use Cadence so my answer is general rather than specific - a port is simply a connection, an ideal source is a perfect voltage supply or signal source. A port named VDD has no voltage one it unless you add one - it is simply a named connection. Similarly a port named Vin might be used to connect to an input source or network.

port in spectre is a voltage source in series with a resistor. Enter "spectre -h port" in your command line to get more information.
