I don't understand where the DC coupling is being applied. On the input side of the op amp or on the output side?

That is referring to the op amp internal design which is dc coupled from its input to its output.
How the input or output are coupled externally (AC or DC) is up to the designer.

Hi,

Thanks for wasting 1.3Mbytes for a couple of 100Bytes of text.

For sure it's DC coupled. If AC coupled I'd expect a series capacitor ... which usually does not exist .
What did you expect? (This is a serious question)

There is a class of opamps that have isolation, done capacitively or magnetic.

But general purpose OpAmps are DC coupled, classic simplified architecture looks like :

A few easy-to-use audio op amps internally apply 1/2 * V_supply to an input in order to save a couple of external resistors and associated soldering.

It makes for ease of use especially when the power supply is one 9V battery.
