A bus is a voltage that supply all of the circuits involved into a particular electronics system.
For industrial applications power ranges are being configured in a common DC bus configuration if a common rectifier can supply power to the DC bus for all the DC-AC inverters instead of individual rectifiers in the stand-alone AC. This drive system configuration provides users with significant advantages such as: design flexibility, higher efficiency and cost savings.
