what is BE diode & GM diode ?

hi

would you like to tell the what is the BE diode & GM diode? i just suffer the problems from a friend.

BE diode is just the base emitter diode where the collector and base are tied together. This is commonly used in CMOS: PNPs for band gap Vref generator.
GM diode - never heard of this but I assume it is a CMOS with the gate tied to the drain.
