What has happened to the Lenze 9326 Global Drive (9300) ? 3 phase input 380Vac - 400

What has happened to the Lenze 9326 Global Drive (9300) ?

3 phase input 380Vac - 400 Vac , 3 phase output 0 - 440 Vac

Generating the output of only 2 phases , not generating the 3rd output phase

no alarm display , no fault display

What would be the benefit of jogging the motor ?

Why jogging is done ?

Jogging the motor is for the operator to position the tool/conveyor belt or what ever for setting up and for testing. Looks like the third phase has died. if the other phases work i.e. the output changes frequency then most of the low level circuits work also the HV bus must be working. So it looks like the hi voltage output stages or its driver has failed. Are there individual phase fuses ?

Trivial question, how do you determine missing phase output? I never seen a motor inverter with phase fuse.
 

by measuring the output by DMM on Vac range , removing the motor (load)

I couldn't find in its manual , how to jog the motor ?

Also the green LED light is stable , Digital display operator displays/shows Ready status , And the drive rotates the motor but very slowly even though the set speed is pretty much higher .....

The belt is fine , the shaft is not jammed or not loaded pretty heavily
 

what do you mean by interphase voltages ? Across U & V , U & W And across V & W ???

would you gimme the page no. of jogging operation inside the manual ?
 

Jog function is available by an input terminal. There isn't much explained about it, but you can assign different fixed frequencies for jogging operation. The info can be found at different places in the system manual, I suggest to do a text search in the pdf file.

Does this drive required external DC Bus voltages ? Because there are two terminals on the drive stating UG + & UG - which has almost 600 Vdc

by removing all the power and removing all the cables , I set my DMM on diode range and measure across UG- & U the DMM shows almost 400 value and same for UG - & V but for UG - & W it displays 1 (means open) it means there's some problem inside the IGBT module which is not passing the third output phase W .

what do you say about it ?
 

I agree to the analysis. But it's not necessarily inside the IGBT module. It may be an interconnect problem as well, e.g. broken PCB or solder connection.

I guess you know, that motor inverters work well without connecting the DC bus.

You can review the drive documentation about the purpose of the DC bus terminals. There usage is always optional, e.g. for break resistor circuits.

Yes, of course. But it sounds like you have been doubting this fact, although I don't know why.

I actually watch it very closely on the digital keypad operator and it has Imax & Mmax alarm/warning & the motor is not rotating ?

what is meant by Imax & Mmax ?
 

Find datasheet for module.the igbt module connections are shown in figure.by using multimeter you can check for any short or open circuit.
Also check driver stages and isolation section.

I already agreed to your conclusion in post #8, except for the IGBT modul as only possible fault location.

There are not so many power terminals on a motor inverter that you could fail in this regard. I also think that terminal names DC+ and DC- are somehow self-evident.
 


No i didn't understand the machine, in fact i couldn't understand it.
Its a Julia Seconda II Italian Solventless Lamination machine.

which one is the frequency reference/input command signal in this drive ?

And which one is actuating the run command ?

what's the benefit of paralleling the DC Bus Voltages between the drives ?
 

Would you name some of those parameters which really do matter for the reference voltage , input signal command , Run command contact , frequency reference etc ???
