Re: game theory

game theory is the study of problems of conflict and cooperation among independent
decisionmakers based on many factors ..constrained or unconstrained ..

it deals with games of strategy rather than games of chance. in this way it differs from probability . here u need to work on some strategy to get a tradeoff of the determinants.

comparison of ppl with a game :
players (decisionmakers)
choices (feasible actions)
payoffs (benefits, prizes, or awards)
preferences to payoffs (objectives)

ya it has some applications in telecommunication networks...but usually it is a business based subject

game theory

It has applications to CDMA problems, as well as networks where bandwidth is limited. Still an open area though.
