hello can any one plz explain to me what does mean these words ??

EMI, EMC, device mismatch, IR drop, Crosstalk, Signal integrity

big thnks

Re: simple question

EMI is electro magnetic interference This occurs due to the parasitics of the wire in your chip(the inductive and capacitive nature of wire)

Device mismatch is due to the process varriations you may not get the accurate aspect ratio for what you have sized the device for ...This I think is the main reason for implementin CMFB in op-amps

IR drop is the voltage drop across the resistor mainly used to explain the concept of power dissipattion i suppose...

Cross talk is again due to EMI (I think so ).For example you will always place your clock wire in your chip above the ground wire (since in a clock wire there is large number of transitions and u don't want to affect any signal line)

Signal intergrity is suppose you send a logic one from one part of your chip to anyother part it has to stay as a one without getting degraded due parasitics in your chip or EMI....

Correct me if any of my explanations are wrong ....
