Please see the attatchment, a very simple circuit.
 

The uCox is not a fixed constant. The uCox spice model is not necessary the same as the one you work in simulation. Also different region of operation could affect the uCox and difference channel length could alter the uCox as well.
 

I think here shows that either larger Vds or larger Ids will degrade mobility. Am I right?:?:
