What cable size should be used for a 50KW load ?

Can i use a 50 mm2 , 3.5 core cable for that (where neutral is half i.e. of 25 mm2) ?

thanxXx

In a three phase system p=1.732x3xVxIxCOS@
When load is given 50KW
Then I=50000/1.732x3x415x.8 =86A or near about
You can take a cable of 100A capacity, that's roughly 50 mm square in copper ....

it means i'm right . 50 mm2 cable of 3.5 cores is right

inside the 3.5 core , 50 mm2 cable , what would be the size for each of the 3 phase and for the neutral ???

Hallo danishdeshmuk,

in the attachment you two tables about cable size and motor current.

I hope it helps.
