What are the most important driver or power supply parameters for powering up series HPL LED chips?

Hi,

From the LED´s perspective: You have to meet the limits given in their datasheet.

Everything else, like:
* input voltage
* how many LEDs to drive
* efficiency / generated heat
* form factor
* brightness control
* and so on
.. are requirements you have decide on your own.

be careful you dont have driver on open load.....then its output cap goes up to the end stop...then you switch the led load in...and bang!.......this is an easy way to blow leds up.....i beg you to be wary of it..

Otherwise, just control the current in the leds
