Spectre Vs SpectreS

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what are the differences between spectre and spectreS? They both have pss and they both give similar results. Why there are two different simulators for the same purpose?

Re: Spectre Vs SpectreS

"spectreS" stands for spice socket. So the artist netlister generate spice compatible netlists. Spectre read them with a language switch.Starting from 4.4.5 not all features in spectre are now supported in spectreS.
