I try to find welding transformer design-calculation but so far no luck. Any help is welcome. I send for standard EI transformer calculation up to 1KW.

Hello
I'm interested in making this device. Unfortunately, most resources are Russian. If you have information on this case please help me

Special thanks

So far no luck, still searching.

Old-school welders use a variable-core scheme where
the "iron" is moved into the solenoid to set an output
current level. Similar to a mag-amp. I expect any science
behind this, is pretty old and not common in research
papers.

New welders are just big DC-DC converters with peculiar
control scheme(s).

Thank for good tips. So far I search practical transformer calculation in short circuit mode. I think this is used for making transformer for welding. Correct me if I am wrong.
Any advice or idea is welcome.
