Dear Fellows
I am working on the design of an antenna working on 8 GHz frequency. regarding specifications, power output from antenna is 20dB, with a coverage angle of 20 degrees. Please let me know the websites from where I can study the antenna thoery and design in a simple language and the software used for this purpose. waiting for an early reply.

As to having a coverage angle of 20 degrees, I think you would be more of looking into a phase array type of patch antenna. Below is a link whereby you could get a free EM simulation software at the link below.
