is there any wav decoder chip like various mp3 decoders for playing wave(.wav) files??

as I know, wave file is not coded. so you can use a microcontroller to decode it.

can anyone please send me any link where i can get the details of the wave file format so that i can decode it with a mcu..

Many people use WAV as a simple wrapper around some other standard such as MP3.
Maybe this will help you. Note the section named "A Bastardized Standard".
