Hi,
One of my sensors consumes the power as follows per second:
during 0.4ms per second it consumes 2A, and 100mA during the rest of the second. How can i calculate the hourly consumption that Watt-hour of the sensor

Please gudie

You can caculate average power for a cycle(1 sec) by dividing the interval into two periods 0-.4ms,.4ms-1sec. Then we get average power for 1 sec, from this calculate power for 1 hour as follows.

average power for 1 cycle= (for 0 to 0.4ms ∫2dt + for 0.4ms to 1s ∫100mw dt )/1sec
Watt hour= average power for 1 cycle×60×60.
