i am unable to find 16 by 2 lcd in altium designer. i have installed libraries also. still not found

Then add one yourself, this is THE basic skill of using CAD, creating your own symbols, footprints and part references....

The footprint of such an LCD module is a single row of 100 mil pitched pads, so you could simply use a header from the standard connectors library as footprint. However, as marce already explained, it's absolutely paramount to learn how to draw your own schematic symbols and footprints because sooner or later you'll be confronted with a part that doesn't have a footprint readily available.

the sch lib and pcb lib's pin numbers must be the same as your lcd,so you have better do the lib youself.it i is easy.

I've never understood why some people are scared to create new components\footprints. Just find a reliable datasheet online and that's it. It's a basic skill and frankly, creating a component in Altium, Diptrace, or any other quality CAD I don't consider to be a "skill", because it's really easy! DipTrace is my champ here. If you create new parts in EAGLE - this where real skills required:)
