Hi,

I want to design a voltage stabilizer for home purpose. although they are available in markets but i want to design for learning purpose as well as using good material because local manufactures used sub graded material (for winding etc).

i would be appreciated i some one tell me the basic behind (calculation , equations etc)it as well as provide a sample design circuit, even recommending a good site regarding voltage stabilizer design tutorials is also welcome.

load for voltage stabilizer is 600 W (fans , energy savers).

for simple stabilizer you can use analog circuit using op-amp or transistor ( normal one in market from 170-270v ) . if you want fast switching and more range go for micro controller design

thanks for your reply, what i need is the basic principles and calculations (regarding voltage regulator or stabilizer design for AC mains) as well as a schematic for a simple voltage regulator circuit .

it sounds like a job for powerint.com
