How true is this simple definition?


- If the feedback signal goes zero if you short the output, (output voltage goes zero) it is voltage feedback;

- If the feedback signal goes to zero if the load is disconnected (output current goes zero) it is current feedback.

Yes. Another way to remember is to see which parameter in the output is sampled by the feedback network. As additional information, that parameter will be kept constant by the feedback system. This influences the circuit output impedance. If the voltage is sampled, it will be kept constant which will make the circuit output impedance smaller than without feedback.
 

Yes, the series is voltage feedback, and the parell is current feedback.
