Visual studio 2003 CD2DVD ?

I have the 6 cd set of visual studio 2003 and wanted to make a DVD for better install and removal of packages, so I copied the contents of the three install cd's plus three msdn cd's to a folder on my hard disk trued to install them from there with success I burned the content of this folder to a dvd. Now when I try to install from the dvd the installer keeps asking for cd #1.
Does enyone know how to port vs2003 to a dvd, are there eny changes to be made to the pdi file?
