Video Streaming from serial Port

Hi all,

I have to transfer the picture from camera continously to form video by serial port to computer. May i know what kind of language is the best for my application and How to do it?

If your project is not a comercial one your best choice is visual basic.
otherwise you can use delphi or vc++.
then you should have a protocol for video transmision.
and finally your interfacing mechanism[software and hardware] transmitts your data.

h.263 video compression header file is available under GPL. you can use it.
