Hi All,
I am about to embark on a project with the given details below:
- converting a composite video input stream into YCbCr for display on a VGA monitor
- processing the video stream to detect moving objects
- controlling the position of a virtual object (superimposed onto) in the scene by means of the detected motion
The tools we are provided with:
- FPGA board (Xilinx XC3S400 Spartan 3)
- Digilent Video Decoder accessory board (ADV7183B decoder chip)
- One Digilent VGA module
I would like to gain some insights on how to deal with this design. We'll be using ISE 8.1 as VHDL development in achieving the output.
