Hi,
Many video A/D chips such as ADV7202 CODEC or SAA7114 A/D have multiple analog inputs.
At the first look, one may think that multiple inputs means multiple simultanous streams however when you read the documentation completely you see that just one and only one of these inputs can be used at a time.
Am I correct?

Then why multiple inputs? What is its benefit? Can I have two simultanous digitized video streams using these chips?

Thanks.
