Hello, I'm new to PCB design and I would appreciate any guidance. Could you please explain how to calculate via size? Also, is the via size related to the track width?
Being it is used to route weak signals, there is no need to calculate anything at all, just one quite suffice, and adding more or less vias literally does not increase the cost and at the end we overpopulate the amount of vias. However, if you still want to estimate how many ones are required at least, you can refer to the tables or online calculators, usually available from the PCB manufacturer itself.
