Hi,

My basic doubt is..
ADC is a analog device, which takes only analog input signal and convert to digital bits. And VHDL code resides only on digital IC's like CPLD, FPGA, EPLD and so on. How Digital components supports analog voltage?

Please clarify this.

hi,

There is a version of VHDL called VHDL AMS. It can be used for mixed signal design. Therefore adc can easily modeled by using VHDL AMS.
