Can Someone help?

I would like to know if behaviour models described utilizing VHDL-AMS
scripts (ieee libs) can be implemented in FPGAs or only simulated.

Thanks

Hi jonatan,

FPGAs are digital devices. VHDL-AMS is the description language for Analog models. So, the anwer is NO.

There was some times ago some companies were talking about Analog-FPGAs, but I don't remember the name of the company and or what tools they were using. Long time ago, there were attempts to use silicon compilers based on VHDL-AMS but again, I am not aware of any such program.

The tools for VHDL-AMS such as MentorGraphics SystemVision do not support synthesizing the code.
