hey there, I just would like to know as how to design a couple of switches in CADENCE which are supposed to get swtiched on and off consecutively at specific instants in different combinatons for a circuit.I think I have to use the component Vpulse for that.

Could you ppl throw some light on that.I am just getting confused regarding the voltage level settings in Vpulse as zero voltage means switchin ON or OFF the switch.

P.S: I tried giving a high voltage for OFF conditions and low voltage for ON condition. But it threw error on simulation by saying that teh voltage value is too high

Whether the switch is ON or OFF at a HIGH or LOW signal depends on your switch configuration.
Basically, an NMOS switches off with a LOW voltage applied to its gate, and a PMOS switches off with a HIGH voltage applied to its gate.
If you are looking for switch circuits, try googling CMOS Transmission Gates as they can be used as switches.

(P.S. What do you mean by you people? LOL)
