very basic about turbo deocders. ACS and CSA are same ?

if i use a simple ACS unit . with 4 inputs . 2 state metrics and two branch metric. i will only get one out put. if i use a CSA i get two outputs. I am confused what to do with the extra output.
if i do another comparison then making it like this is useless?
