Is VDD is a constant or can be varied over a range...? What are the constraints to be taken into consideration for deciding VDD for a specific Technology...? In gpdk090 the Lmin is 100 nm rather than 90 nm ... What would be the reason behind it...? Please do enlighten me in this concern...... Thanks in advance.......

Click to expand... See here a table down to 70nm: **broken link removed** Vdd is the usual max. core voltage Vmax. For 45nm processes usually Vmax=0.8V , but some processes still allow for core voltage of 1.0-1.2V (using thicker Tox). Ramakrishna_444 said: Is VDD is a constant or can be varied over a range...? Click to expand... Usually over a range of Vmax ± 10% , often down to a lower voltage. Ramakrishna_444 said: What are the constraints to be taken into consideration for deciding VDD for a specific Technology...? Click to expand... The Vmax limit. Vmin may be lower, depending on circuit design and application requirements. Ramakrishna_444 said: In gpdk090 the Lmin is 100 nm rather than 90 nm ... What would be the reason behind it...? Click to expand... GPDK considerations, maybe used grid scale. Actual Lmin will anyway be fixed later during data prep for mask generation.
