VB 2010 serial port problem

In vb 2010 I am trying to receive data from my controller which is set to transmit data at 2400 baud rate that data I want to display in text of VB form, can any one help me with code example.
Controller code is already written and working fine, check on hyper terminal.
 

I receive data on serial port but only integer value displaying, how can I display float value in VB.
