Driving a Relay

hi
I recently use Tyco PCB Mount relays (3SBC1501A2) in my project.

Data Sheet : http://www.tycoelectronics.com/catalog/pn/en/2-1617072-0?RQPN=3SBC1501A2

I use ULQ2003AD for driving this relay.
I connect X1 to +28V and X2 to output of ULQ2003AD (collector of Darlington).
This suppose to be my relay coil excitation. I use a 1N4007 for flyback. (Cathode connected to X1 and Anode to X2).

I command to ULQ2003AD directly from an AVR microcontrller.

My question is : is there any requirements that i must consider ?

Thanks for your help.

Driving a Relay

You shouldn't need the 1N4007 - the ULQ2003AD has built in diodes - just connect pin 9 to +28V.

The relay you linked to is 6V, not 28V. Are you sure you have linked to the correct one? If so, you cannot use 28V for the relay coil.

Keith.

it seems that i put wrong link. I use 28V relay. thanks for your support.
