Hi
I am using Cadence for layout and post-layout of a flip-flop TSMC 180nm. I have two approaches: I export acquired data (i.e. .sp with parasitic extraction) to HSPICE for measuring power, delay, setup time, and hold time, or I use cadence for measuring above parameters. Which method is more easier and conventional than the other?
Thanks

I think both methods are equally simple. If you want to use SPECTRE from Cādence AMS, just insert a line
Code:
simulator lang=SPICE
... in front of your SPICE code.

System selection more depends on what you are used to, e.g. which presentation (wave) tool you prefer, or if you need the help of Cādence's calculator tool.
