I am using a port symbol for an input source. The input source should be an AC source with a source resistance of 50 ohms. The problem is when I use the port and do an AC Analysis the output is 0 from the port.
So how do I use the port in the AC analysis?

1) If you want to do an AC analysis then please dont use port!!!!!

use vsin from "analogLib" and make sure u set the internal source resistance to 0 Ohms and add an external resistor or set it to 50 Ohms

2) if you want to run an S-Parameter analysis, then use "psin" from "analogLib"

Hope this helps!

In PORT, U must click the "display small signal params", and set proper parameters, remember all values are doubled. the reason is in the ideal of perfect match (half half).
and I dont think that it makes differences whether to use port or Vsin. both can work as long as been set the parameters properly. try it.
