I am having power supply with I/P 115V-60Hz, 1.9A AC & O/P 24V 6A DC. What if I plug it directly into 115V-50Hz supply.
What I can understand is transformer may heat up due to operating it at lower fequency, as it will store more energy than expected. Is there any other thing I need to consider? Also how to calculate effect of this on power supply efficiency?

Is DC-DC or AC-DC? If you have your AC-DC operating under 60Hz, the transformer should be huge.

Its AC-DC with buck converter inside for getting higher efficiency..

Their is no problem with that you can power it with 115v @ 50HZ.

if it is a smps power supply, you can use it for 50hz
