MPC885

Hi

I want to build a systems with two hardware interfaces:
1. Fast Etherent
2. UTOPIA L2

The system recive data by UTOPIA, it's make some elaborations and transmit data by Etherent. For this reason I'm thinking to use a network processor by Freescale MPC885 with O.S. Linux.
Someone already has made something of similar and can give me any suggestions?

Thx Defer

MPC885

MPC885 is suite for your need.
You can use FEC as the Ethernet Port and ATM port use UTOPIA interface.

And Linux just have these driver for these kind of component.

Re: MPC885

What Linux linux distribution ?
With the developer board the freescale use the ARABELLA Linux but this version don't have atm derivers.

Thx
