USB Soundcard with I/O interface

Dear,

I need a USB device Soundcard that features i/o for communicating with other devices.

The illustrations were as follows:



Please advice and idea, the chipset should I use.
 

Dear Weetabixharry,

I/O will be associated with several sensors (On/Off), and Indicator.

This sound to monitor experimen of sound from some room. When there's a trigger on one sensor, then the computer will record the sound.
 

Why don't you just have a separate control interface (such as serial RS232)? I don't see why your control has to be part of the sound card - you could implement the control logic in software.
 

I wrote you a pm, with a small add. circuit, it's possibly to use any usb soundcard.
 

Honestly, if I want that everybody can read it, I'll post it. Otherwise, I make use of private messages, as it's their intention ;-). But it was not about technical stuff.
