[SOLVED] USB IR remote using PIC2550

HI all,
Can any one guide me in making USB IR Remote using PIC2550.

I got schematic and code from this site but it is not working for me

If any one had made usb IR remote,using pic suggest how to do

First you simply try to decode the IR signal in PIC2550 then move on to USB.

The firmware is given on the site - so it shouldn't be that difficult to make it work?
Have you tried their firmware, and followed the guide to set up the reciever driver (.INF) and such?

I tried with the firmware, USB device was detected and the (.inf) drivers was installed successfully. But when i press remote, there is no output in Hercules software or in Grider software

Finally i completed USB IR Remote using this link

It works fine with grider, LIRC
