There's a mathematical term in a work I'm writing that is either X/R for the impedance case or B/G for the admittance case. I would like to just call this term normalized immittance, but I'm not really confident if that's an appropriate use of the word and I don't want to make this more confusing than it is.
In my mind, this term (I'll call it M = X/R or B/G) satisfies all the requirements of immittance (i.e. it is dimensionless and applies to either series or shunt analysis), but I also couldn't find anyone else using the word in this way. Any thoughts?
