Hi, guys.

We are developing a USB device and our first choice is TUSB3210 since we have the eva. board from TI.

Do we really need some emulator to develop it or just some simulator software? Normally how you guys develop it? Suggestions on free or cheap dev. kit and sample soure codes are really appreciated!!

Our backup plan is to use CYPRESS AN2131 or CY7C64613. Still the same question? Is there any relatively cheap dev. kits for these MCU??

What are you using right now?

Thanks a lot.

Re: Urgent and Appreciated help on USB controller developmen

Hi,
i used a atmega128 in combination with ft245b without any dev-kit or emulator. just make your own pcb and test it. there is a good driver support for windows by ftdi-chip.
this are my experiences.
greetings,
hqqh

is it possible to program eeprom attached to TUSB3210 from PC ?

Contact TI and they will send you a windows device driver that makes the USB act like a serial port. We have used this before, and look at the UART EVM.
