Can anyone please help me in understanding unsigned serial divider? For which applications we use serial divider? How this divider performs division?

Please explain where you found this "serial divider" stuff. That can be many things, unlike a serial killer.

I found it on opencores.com under name of "Integer Serial Divider" and tried to understand but couldn't get

I tried to find "Integer serial divider" (3 words in this exact sequence), and there
are only 2 occurences on the net. 2 pdfs. So this is probably not a well known
term. Try to understand what they want to say by reading the context.
